MMAP Design Ltd were involved right from the start with design & space planning which enabled the Exeter Medical Directors Chris Stone & David Oliver to make some important strategic decisions early on. We advised on Building Regulations, DDA (the Disability Discrimination Act) & had to work to the Healthcare Commissions very high standards of health & safety. As Exeter Medical was a new venture we had to design, develop & incorporate into the project a strong visual corporate identity. This was achieved with the use or clean white curved stud walls & glass block walls to create a feeling of space but also to allow privacy.

Room

 

This project was a real test of our design & build skills. The building had limited existing utilities & therefore everything from data & phone networks to power & plumbing works was involved. Once we had the theme of the project decided it was a delight to dress & present such a wonderful property.
